As much as money shouldn't be as big of a factor in politics as it is, it's reality right now. So the fact that Jamie Wall has the 8th biggest pot of cash on hand among all House challengers in the nation is pretty big news. Here's the list from CQ:
Ron Klein, Democrat, Florida’s 22nd District: $560,330 • Gus Bilirakis, Republican, Florida’s 9th District: $435,431 • Peter Roskam, Republican, Illinois’ 6th District: $369,675 • John Campbell, Republican, California’s 48th District: $270,395 • Baron P. Hill, Democrat, Indiana’s 9th District: $270,270* • Rick O’Donnell, Republican, Colorado’s 7th District: $262,082 • Dean Heller, Republican, Nevada’s 2nd District: $246,760 • Jamie Wall, Democrat, Wisconsin’s 8th District: $243,589 • David McSweeney, Republican, Illinois’ 8th District: $228,993 • Juan Vargas, Democrat, California’s 51st District: $224,436
Just thought that was interesting. Now, the question is does that translate into votes.
