bumper sticker gets a reaction.
so I was coming out of the grocery store and going up to the jeep cherokee next to me was a "younger couple" (maybe late 20's or early 30's). Before they opened the back hatch on the jeep to put their groceries in the car, the husband looked at my car, did a double-take and walked around the back to get a better view of my Deomocraticunderground.com bumper sticker.

When I got next to him, I said, "That's a rare one isn't it?"

He said, "I've never heard of it before."

so I told him that if he wanted to know what was really going on he should log on...he said "thanks".

He looked a little puzzled and I don't know what side of the fence he's on but he sure showed a lot of interest in the bumper sticker.

3. speaking of bumper stickers...
Back in the day of an earlier energy crisis, there was a sticker that was popular in texas and other southern states. It said something like, "Drive fast, freeze a Yankee."

In the heat of this summer, I have been thinking of making one that says, "Drive fast. Bake a red-stater." Hateful, maybe. But at least I have the satisfaction of knowing that if we here in the evil Blue north are suffering, it must be even hotter down south. At least it will prepare them for where they will wind up (if you believe in such things).

5. My DU sticker has been on there a long time.
And it gets fewer reactions than my 'militant agnostic' sticker.

6. HA,
'militant agnostic'. Where'd you get that one?

As I was driving to work this morning (all country roads), I saw a "Hey Cheney, Go home and take your sock puppet with you" sticker. It made me smile, that's for sure.

MadAsHell won't let me put stickers on the nicer vehicles in the garage. What is it with some guys anyway?
