Caught in Drake Hill's web

My husband, who works for the UW Outreach School, is spending his Labor Day in the office. This, despite the fact that he already put in about 70 hours last week dealing with the crazy rush of a new semester with a new registration system. Why is he there? Well, because he has until tomorrow to respond to GOP Chair Drake Hill's dragnet request for "all documents" dealing with sole-source contracts that Freudenthal has signed. That includes the Outreach School's contract with eCollege, which provides the backbone to run all the online courses. Now, I doubt that Freudenthal has ever even heard of eCollege -- and why should he have? -- but, nonetheless, there's my poor husband trapped in his office this Labor Day.

So I suggested he leave a little message in his stack of documents to be produced. Just one simple quote on a blank piece of paper. The quote?

"GO FUCK YOURSELF" -- Dick Cheney
