1. Finders Keepers
Or something of that nature. Maybe the finder should return a cup of kofie as an act of some sort?

Not all rims rrroll up equally

The odds of winning a big prize when you roll up the rim on a cup of Tim Hortons coffee depend on where you live, CBC News Online has learned.

Albertans and Atlantic Canadians have nearly twice the opportunity of driving off in one of the 30 SUVs as people in Toronto or southwestern Ontario.

If you live in Quebec, where Tim Hortons is battling for market share with rival Dunkin' Donuts, your chances are even better – a one in four million shot at the SUV, versus one in eight million for B.C. and one in 11 million for southern Ontario.

A spokesman at the company's headquarters in Oakville, Ont., was initially unaware of the prize distribution breakdown and had to check with corporate lawyers before confirming that the odds have been skewed for at least the past couple of years.

3. Bastards!...
I live in Oakville, about 5km from Timmy's head office, and I've only got a 1 in 11 million shot at a car? C'mon, how bout taking care of your neighbours first? :)

Anyone think there are more small prizes being given out this year? I didn't win anything last year, and I've got 4 free coffees so far this year.

Sid

2. The third party that got involved...
is suing them (and wanting to test the DNA on the cup)--the guy should really be examined and definitely kept away from children...I heard he is a teacher, but I notice they ONLY call him an 'school employee'.

I predict that after a fair amount of 'free' publicity, Tim Horton's might just give them all cars...

6. BTW...
Is there a really good technique to 'rolling the rim' on these things...I screw it up all the time, including right now...just a mess...I can't figure it out...it's worst than the vinyl cap in a pop bottle...that you can just dig out...this is way harder...

7. I won once, sort of...
I dropped a loonie in a panhandler's TH cup once. "Thanks, boss," he said. "Here--get yerself a donut," and handed me the cup, which sure enough was good for a free donut. Not sure which of us came out ahead on that one...
