Canada should prepare for an "extended" military campaign in Afghanistan and not put a time limit on its military stay there, Colin Powell told a crowd of more than 2,500 Wednesday night at Roy Thomson Hall.
“We all should be prepared for something that’s going to be extended,” the former U.S. secretary of state said. “I think it would not be the appropriate course of action now to put a time limit on it, because it’s situational.”
