EDMONTON — Federal Liberal leadership hopefuls are pledging to work together to bring down Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservatives.
Some potential and declared candidates to become Canada's new Liberal leader say they've all got to co-operate to defeat the Conservative government in Ottawa.
More than a dozen potential leadership candidates took to an Edmonton stage to begin presenting their credentials to Liberal party members, gathered for the provincial party's convention.
Bob Rae, former Ontario NDP premier and likely candidate, said Liberals have to work together and not fight among themselves in order to win.
