OTTAWA — Canada's top general is denying a report that the new Conservative government asked to approve his speeches.
And Prime Minister Stephen Harper also says there's
no move to censor Gen. Rick Hillier, chief of the defence staff.
"I keep reading these stories about secret memos that I'm vetting this and that, but I'm not aware of any of them," he said in Winnipeg.
"Generally speaking, senior members of the government and senior officials of the government are obviously supposed to share their views and public statements with other members of the government and I don't think we've changed anything."

Harper seems to be at his limit. All he knows is I dare you to force an election.
Looks like it hasn't taken very long for him to be beyond his capabilities. Looks like it will be mostly downhill from here.
