Stephen Harper may have just outsmarted himself again.....

I'm referring to the fact that he appointed Mike Duffy, CTV's heavily pro Conservative anchor on Mike Duffy Live. In my opinion, he had a considerable influence in persuading some citizens, (not as informed and aware as those of us on DU), towards supporting the Harper government. Now that Duffy is gone, CTV is using Graham Richardson as the anchor for the political show that replaces Duffy. Richardson is actually fair and even-handed in his reporting. Harper is so tone deaf....he never seems aware of nuances. This was also shown when he thought he could get away with dropping the monetary support of political parties....thereby trying to destroy the opposition.
