Ex-MP Lill gets kudos for radio drama

LIBERAL MLA and former journalist Kelly Regan scooped the New Democrats last week.

Regan beat the NDP to a resolution congratulating former Dartmouth New Democrat MP Wendy Lill on her CBC Radio series Backbencher, a drama about a newly elected parliamentarian.

"I listen to it and I’m thinking, ‘Oh boy, has she ever nailed it,’ " said Regan, just elected last June.

"It wasn’t done to scoop them, or anything, it was just because I thought it was really good."
