Conservative Party contradicts Helena Guergis’s claims
Helena Guergis didn’t make new friends or win back old ones after she emerged from her self-imposed silence in a bid to kick start her political career.

The opposition parties said Tuesday that they still want more details on allegations that her husband, Rahim Jaffer, engaged in unregistered lobbying activities after he lost his seat in the 2008 federal election.

And the Conservative Party ratcheted up its attacks against the version of events laid out Monday night by Ms. Guergis, who resigned as minister of state for the status of women and was removed from the Conservative caucus last month.

“Ms. Guergis wasn’t telling the truth about not knowing the allegations ,” a Conservative memo said. “She was told the specific allegations by the party lawyer.”

So who does one believe?

Helena, who has no offical charges or a PM whose eyes are starting to look pretty different? (Have a look at his face)

1. What about the RCMP?
Maybe they should come clean, and tell the public since the Conservatives can't seem to get their stories straight.

2. Well
Seems like they only support the Cons. And especially in elections.

If you ever want to see a weak defense of the Long Gun Registration, by a supporter of the legislation, then just dig up the Power & Politics from last week. The head fellow gave such a weak defense that I wonder?

3. Yes, they were pretty gung-ho during the election
And not shy about spending millions to investigate "adscam". Conservative scandals, not so enthusiastic.
