Support for Tories down across most of the country, poll suggests

OTTAWA - A new poll suggests opposition parties are gaining on the Conservatives across almost the entire country.

The Canadian Press Harris Decima survey suggests the Tories' national lead over the Liberals slipped to five percentage points from eight.

The biggest drop for the Tories was in the vote-rich province of Ontario, where they're tied with the Liberals.

But both parties have lost ground to the NDP in British Columbia, while all three are far behind the Bloc Quebecois in Quebec.

If we don't have the method used and the questions used we may only assume the bias.
