London, Toronto exchanges poised to combine forces
TORONTO, Feb 8 (Reuters) - The London Stock Exchange is in advanced talks to take over the owner of the Toronto Stock Exchange in a deal that would create a leading venue for trading mining shares at a time of booming commodity prices.
