It's as plain on the nose on yer face, when you watch the morning weather on Newsworld as I did today before stepping outside to get said nose frozen off.
Here's me in Ontario, shivering at, say, -20 (and that's without the windchill).
There they are in coastal BC, basking in something like +10.
Well.
-20 +10 -10
-10/2 = -5 -- a good, equalized temperature for mid-January in Canada.
I want the 15 degrees that BC is hoarding and that are rightfully mine, by virtue of citizenship in this great and equality-loving country. And I want them to keep some of the damned wind instead of sending it eastward to me, too.
A new plank for Jack's platform? Perhaps a reference to the Supreme Court would be the most politically palatable approach? Will Harper be his usual unCanadian self and play to his western base, and call for a referendum on my birthright, or for invoking the notwithstanding clause to preserve the traditional definition of good weather as being for Lotusland dwellers only? Martin, of course, will ... wait to see which way the wind is blowing today ...
