At last a REAL use for the Dome.........a homeless dog creche

"A dog crèche is being set up at the Millennium Dome in London to treat homeless people's canine companions.
It is the first time that homeless charity Crisis has used the venue to host its Open Christmas campaign.

Homeless people will be given food and basic medical care and a veterinary team from The Mayhew Animal Home will be on hand to treat homeless dogs.

Staff from the north London animal home will set up a dog crèche with pet food, bedding, leads and collars available. "

Whilst I'm chuffed to buggery about homeless people and their animals getting help over Christmas, I do still find it very amusing that this is the best use found for the Millennium Dome since it closed its exhibition (yes, I know Paul McCartney rehearsed there, but he's shit these days).
