Tony “Britain does not torture” Blair, looks set to be candidate for PERMANENT President of the European Union.

Add a Single European Army to his control and who knows where a new Blair invasion would take the World. The US has WMDs. The 45 minute claim may stand up this time.

The only good thing I see coming out of this is that The International Criminal Court would be nearby to his new office.

3. The Iraq War should not have been in our name

but was and Blair did more to sell that war than Bush.

The only good thing is that he has the support of Gordon Brown, so that pretty much ensures he will not get it.

On top of that, the image of him as EU President is enough to secure a second no vote in Ireland.

The only part of Europe he should be in the International Criminal Court, as you suggest.

I can't imagine a Single Europaean Army however. Many of the Europaean countries can barely get on as it is. It's more likely that Blair's presidency would bring such tensions to boiling point, and, if a 'permanent presidency', could lead to the break-up of the EU.
