BNP membership list appears on Wikileaks
"A detailed membership list of the British National party containing names, addresses and telephone numbers was published on the internet this morning.

The list, which contains thousands of names, was published on Wikileaks, a website that purports to be a clearing house for information to be published anonymously.

A Guardian analysis of the data suggests the BNP had 11,811 members as of April this year, including several doctors and military personnel. The party appears to have benefited from a surge in female recruits, with one in eight party members now women."

Named and shamed.

1. I am aways a bit suspicious about this type of political leak
since they are often organised in house. One concern is the massive amount of media coverage that the BNP are garnering at the moment even if it is negative. Their modus operandi is to seek to be portrayed as political martyrs conspired against by the establishment. This exact same tactic used with some success by the Nazis in late 1920's and early 1930's Germany. Indeed, the dedication of Mein Kampf is devoted to this very topic. It would be far more damaging to the BNP if Griffin could be nailed fiddling his expenses.

2. Possibly.
The data format is different. It is difficult to cross match, although from what I have read (certainly the complaints) it is genuine.

Interesting list of overseas donors, including 2 from Saudi Arabia.

I think you give Griffin and his crew too much credit. I think this appears to be some membership renewal thing, possibly lost on a memory key, laptop or even another disgruntled employee. It smacks of incompetence, not plot.
