Seeing as they are actually more popular then the BNP I think it's only fair that they should have wall to wall media coverage as well.

1. Corporatists fear The Greens....
... a lot more than the goose-steppers.

So the BNP will be kept centre stage for a good while yet.

2. It's not just "Corporatists" giving the BNP wall to wall media coverage

And quite frankly I'm sick of hearing about them. I didn't watch Question Time because quite frankly, if I want to watch an unpleasant wanker I can always masturbate in front of a mirror.

3. Mightn't be a bad idea...

I live in one of the few places where Greens have some representation on the local council. May be the effect of being a university town, with lots of students. But it's not just students. My next-door neighbour is extremely active in the Green Party - at the age of 91!

The late Councillor Mike Woodin was one of the first Green councillors elected. In his 'day job' he was a university teacher, and I knew him well in that role. His early death was a tragedy for our students and the university, as well as for his family and for the party.

The Greens did get enough votes from SE England in the Euro-election to get Caroline Lucas re-elected; she is one of the few decent SE England MEPs in a generally rather dismal bunch.

4. It doesn't get the same attention when the Greens win seats does it?
The Greens are the main opposition on Norwich council, and also do very well in Brighton, Sheffield, and Lancaster to name but 3 examples.

The Greens have much more council seats then the BNP but we never hear anybody going on about the "rise of the Greens" do we? Nor do we get the same sort of tortured analysis of what the main parties have done wrong when they win, although in many cases they win because the 3 main parties do not present a viable alternative.

5. You have a point
Although the Greens don't have the propaganda boost that the BNP does of having right-wing papers play in their hands with the vilest of made-up stories.

If say Caroline Lucas appears on QT it sadly wouldn't make the front page of anywhere.
