Doing the rounds
and doubltess already worldwide. Prolly would've had less coverage if the The Times had just gone ahead and printed it.

Full Clarkson article, which was pulled, here : http://www.torybear.com/2009/11/times-silence-clarkson.html

1. Wow, Clarkson is trying to become Richard Littlejohn
But, even with all that, he still finds space to point out that the US healthcare system is complete pants. It's amazing that even the most right wing bollocks that gets published in Britain still includes "but I wouldn't want healthcare like the Americans have".

9. Unless you are the unfortunately named
Richard Littlejohn. Who offered this example of idiocy.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-1232204/RICHARD-LITTLEJOHN-Thank-heavens-sick-mum-wasnt-mercy-NHS.html

In summary it says if you have $1million the US health care system is better. Yaa boo sucks.

Elongated of course to justify his salary.

3. Tory Bear?
Not the best place to find a Clarkson article. Tory Bear seems to spend far too much time having flamewars with lefties on Twitter, comes across as a right moron from there if you ask me.

As to the article itself, it's just bog standard pub gobshite stuff.

4. For clarity
I only found it there by searching bear and clarkson out of curiousity. I'd received the full article by email in its entirety and hence my ref to it being circulated worldwide - the friend who sent it has personal and business contacts worldwide.

8. I'm just wondering where else the article could be
Clarkson's article must have come to a pretty pass when only hacks such as ToryBear are prepared to publish it. Even Jan Moir's rubbish gets more widely circulated then that.

Maybe it's the line about Britain being "Mosque-Drenched" that caused the article to be pulled, although it would appear from that paragraph that Clarkson thinks that it's actually the lefties who are going round building Mosques!

5. That's a few minutes of my life I'll never get back; but serves me right for opening anything by
Clarkson.

On political issues, he is a nasty mean-minded idiot.

However I don't think that the publicity for it will make a huge difference. After all, he's not saying anything that the RW wide-circulation tabloids aren't spewing regularly.

6. I like how he accused the Guardian of not caring about people dying in Afghanistan

Er... ok, so Clarkson writes for that anti-war conshie-bolshie-pacifist paper known as the Times :eyes:

Well he's not in Richard Littlejohn territory. Clarkson is a xenophobe right-wing populist while Littlejohn is inches away from BNP-style fascism. Clarkson doesn't like the US or Americans, and he definitely didn't like George W Bush. Whereas Littlejohn loves the US healthcare system and the Republican Party.

I think if this had been written for the Daily Hate or the Diana Express it wouldn't have been pulled. The average Platell/Littlejohn column could out-hate Clarkson at his worst.

7. "You can't go to Germany... because you can't."
What he means is he couldn't come here because he's scared his pathetic, purile schoolboy attempts at humour would get him punched - and quite right too. I used to teach any number of little tossers like him. Sad, inadequate attention seeking twat.

10. I wondered where his column had gone when it didn't show up on my Kindle yesterday morning...
...he's a pig and an oafish lout, but he can be bloody funny...and he has the best job in the world..
