It is the first crown court criminal trial to be held without a jury in England and Wales for more than 350 years.
Police said Mr Blake, from Notting Hill, west London, went missing at 1415 GMT in the vicinity of the Royal Courts of Justice.
Officers have appealed for information in a bid to trace his whereabouts.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8522316.stmWhat a cock-up. This is a trial in which they've suspected jury-nobbling so much they had to do away with a jury, then one of the defendants can just 'go missing'; and then, despite him being dangerous (police advise he isn't approached) it takes them 24 hours to tell the public he's escaped!
From The Times:
WTF is someone who is a danger to the public doing on bail? And someone who may have tried to nobble a jury?
