Judge: BNP still likely racist

LONDON, March 12 (UPI) -- The British National Party is still likely to discriminate on racial grounds, a judge
ruled Friday, barring the group from accepting new members.

BNP leader Nick Griffin attended the hearing in Central London County Court, undergoing a verbal barrage from a handful of protesters who chanted "Nazi scum," The Times of London reported.

"I hold that the BNP are likely to commit unlawful acts of discrimination within section 1b Race Relations Act 1976 in the terms on which they are prepared to admit persons to membership under the 12th addition of their constitution," Judge Paul Collins said. "The membership list will have to be closed."

The party, under threat of a legal action by an anti-discrimination agency, voted Feb. 14 at an extraordinary general meeting to allow non-whites to join. Griffin says a few non-whites are on the large waiting list.

How can someone be trusted to care for kids whom s/he's signed up to say are racially and intellectually inferior and oughtn't to be in the classroom anyway?

4. Some things never change

Interesting how a group that can adopt the policies and ideology of a man that they were at war with.
But, the cult of Hitler is sweeping through some parts of Russia and a few pockets of Eastern Europe as well.
Hitler had more disdain for Slavic peoples then he held for any other group except for Jews and Gypsies

Churchill may have been a Tory (most of the time), and very flawed on domestic politics - but he would turn in his grave at being used by heirs of the Nazis.

Had Griffin et al been around in 1940, they would have been happy to administer a slave state in Britain as a client of Nazi Germany.

7. i'm honestly not altogether sure

of that. I mean, he might well support the BNP these days. He was certainly a "great man" of massive intelligence and infectious, crazy energy, but he was more or less an outright sociopath.
