As I have stated previously the main weakness of all the Nazi nut job parties is that only one person can be Fuhrer. This inevitably leads to some serious squabbling at the top as all of them think they are Destiny's chosen one.

Slightly off topic I have been re-reading Antony Beevors book Berlin The DownFall 1945. One of the most amazing parts of his account of the collapse of the Third Reich is the amount of time spent by senior Nazis such as Himmler, Bormann, Goeing etc plotting against each other in the hope of succeeding Hitler as German leader. In fact they seem to have spent far more time fretting about who was going to be the next boss than worrying about the enormous Soviet armies sweeping inexorably closer to Berlin or the 8.5 million German civilian refugees fleeing in front of them.

...when you consider that the candidate in question is their candidate for Sheffield Brightside, which is the main seat they are targeting in Sheffield. Collet has an appallingly bad reputation so how the BNP thought him suitable for taking on David Blunkett I do not know.
