I've been out on battle bus today with our special guest Harriet Harman. By the time we got to Wolverhampton, the Prescott Express passed 3,000 miles and our 35th constituency visit in 21 days.

I finished off with a meeting with Unite shop stewards and a stump speech in the town centre.

So I only just discovered in the last hour or so what happened to Gordon. Whilst the media are concentrating on what he said and the apology, the REAL story is how and why it happened.

Yet again the dying Murdoch empire is doing all it can to influence a British election. First, his News of the World editor Andy Coulson joins Cameron to use the same dirty tricks he employed on that newspaper for the Conservatives.

Then The Sun came out for the Tories during our conference. What an effect that had! The Tories have seen their poll rating go from 41% poll to 33%!

So then the News of the World backed the Tories. Effect? Nothing!

Murdoch's son James and News International head (and former Sun Editor) Rebekah Brooks then resorted to bullying the Editor of the Independent (oh the irony) IN HIS OWN OFFICE to stop him criticising daddy!

But today the Murdoch family reached a new low in their desperate attempt to turn the election for the Tories.

News International's Sky News broadcast a PRIVATE conversation between Gordon and his staff.

The very same News International that tapped hundreds of phones and saw one of their reporter's jailed after listening and publishing conversations involving the Royal Family.

The News of the World and its then editor Andy Coulson claimed it was a ‘rogue reporter' and that Cameron's spin doctor knew nothing about it.

So why did they pay off over a million to Gordon Taylor and Max Clifford to buy their silence?

What Murdoch's Sky News did today was just as bad as his paper's phone tapping.

It was a breach of privacy, it was underhand and it was done in the pursuit of ratings and political influence.

So let's show them that Britain is not for sale.

That an Australian with an American passport cannot buy our General Election.

And I'll be the first to proudly proclaim on May 7 - "It's the Sun Wot Lost It"

1. Balls to Prescott.

So what was wrong about Gordon Brown calling a Labour voter a bigot wasn't Brown saying what he said it was Brown getting caught for saying what he said. Prescott sounds like one of the villains at the end of a Scooby Doo episode.

Murdoch was great while they were promoting Blair, especially when they ran all the terrorism stories, which helped Blair and Prescott with their blood lust in Iraq. They were great for Neo Con Labour when they printed the faces of the MPs voting against 90 days internment without trial - calling those MP's traitors (and worse).

Murdoch was great when he was selling Neo Con Labour's ID cards.

Murdoch was great when he was selling stupid anti terror laws that turned the right to protest in to a right to "request" a protest, that stopped people being able to photograph the police or even buildings.

I can not wait until May 7th, waking up to see that the Neo Con wing of the Labour Party gave Labour their worst defeat since 1918. I will then be happy to say "It's Gordon wot lost it".

2. Balls to Murdoch!

And right at this stage, the main thing is to keep the Tories from getting an absolute majority. I don't care if Labour, LibDems or the Monster Raving Loony Party win (I'd probably prefer the Monster Raving Loonies!), so long as the Tories are kept out, or at least out of a majority.

I'm no Prescott fan, but neither he nor Brown is a neocon. Brown is on the right of the Labour Party; Blair was a neocon and a Tory. Labour didn't defeat the Tories in 1997 but in 2007. And I've noticed a significant improvement in health and education policies in the last three years. I would prefer someone *way* to the left of Brown, but at present the point is to keep out Cameron and his even more right-wing handlers.

I agree with every word. If you really hate the current Labour Party so much I suggest you think back to the Tory landslide in 1983. Now THAT was a nightmare, and will happen again if they get back in with a working majority.

4. Sigh - even the Monster Raving Loonies have rabid right wingers as candidates

Standing in the Buckingham constituency against the Speaker:

Colin lived in Wendover, Bucks for 25 years. During that time I was the Conservative elected district councillor and parish chairman of Wendover Parish Council for approximately 17 years. In 2001 Colin Dale stood for UKIP in Hertfordshire South West when I polled nearly a thousand votes. I will be standing for the Monster Raving Loony Party at Buckingham 2010.

Policy if elected:

I believe that the indigenous people of this country should be put first foremost and always.

The British people should be a given a referendum with a straight yes or no vote on the European Union.

Judges must be made to tow the line and make the punishment fit the crime.

Immigration: A fixed limit of say no more than 5,000 immigrants to be allowed into Britain per year for the next 20 years. This would re-address the balance.

It goes on. There's no bloody jokes in it at all. The only good news is that, being a clone of Farage, he'll drain votes away from him.
