Fox thinks you shouldn't be allowed to play the Taliban
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-11056581

So should all video games based on wars not allow players to play the opposition? I remember even the icky Civilization II allowed me to play the German invasion of the UK and the US.

1. Fox is a tosser.
He's entitled to his own opinion about the game (and everything else)
but only as a citizen, not as a politician with influence on the
law-making process.

If he doesn't want to buy the game, no-one should force him to do so.
Similarly, if someone *does* want to buy the game, Fox shouldn't be
able to prevent them from doing so (*).

2. That's what I was thinking too.
This would create a bit of a problem for all forms of war gaming/ re-enactment! Which of course did not even begin with video games.
