Just a bit of fun, right?

I mean, who could possibly object to their council leader having a bit of harmless fun by dressing up as a mass murderer?

2. Yeah, I saw that. Obviously, the Nazis are making a bit of a comeback ....
... in conservative circles.

3. Disgraceful. And he's not the only politician who has done that either

4. Hmm. Not a fan of Ed Balls but, to be fair to him ...
... this was taken during his student days.

Perhaps the Yorkshire Tories who used the picture against him should have checked out the predilections of Harrogate politicians first ...

5. Firstly...
this is about Ed Balls' alleged student activities in the 1980s. Very regrettable if true, but hardly the same as someone *currently* combining a political career with Nazi re-enactments.

Secondly, why link to a site like 'hesspartacus'? It is a nutty, paranoid conspiracy-theory site, by someone who supports the British Constitution Group - an organization that considers that Britain's membership of the EU is an act of 'treason' by all our leaders, justifying 'lawful rebellion'. The original source seems to be the Daily (Hate) Mail: quite bad enough in itself - and one that would know a thing or two about supporting Nazis.
