Camilla
It looked like the French Revolution on TV. Wearing Emeralds and Diamonds through an austerity protest and saying "let them eat cake " was not a wise thing to do. Camilla and Marie Antoinette have a lot in common !

1. Meh - they were on their way to a regular charity performance
And since she has never made any comment about politics at all, this doesn't really fit.

2. ditto
yes - a regular charity event which has run for the best apart of 100 years. In some respects it was fortunate it was Charles' turn this year. If the Queen had been in the car I think there might have a few fatalities or busted heads at least. I'm really not either for or against London's CCTV cameras , they're just there , but in that area they exist in abundance. I've no doubt they'll round up at least some of the culprits using the footage.

3. Whatever the rights and wrongs of this ... and I'm not in favour of fear attacks on individuals ....
.... it will play into the hands of the right.

The redtops are already having a ball with the best royal story since Diana popped her stilettos.

4. Yeah - if the main headline had been "20 year old needs emergency brain surgery to save life
after hit on head by police baton", the thrust now would be an investigation into police violence, not the incompetence of the police escort and a hunt for the protesters.
