Driver banned after caught using two mobile phones on dual-carriageway
Source: Press Association

A man spotted behind the wheel on a 70mph road as he used two mobile phones has been banned from driving.

Police spotted David Secker making a phone call with one hand and apparently sending a text message with the other, Norwich magistrates' court heard.

When officers pulled over the 34-year-old they had to wait for him to finish his conversation.

Prosecutor Denis King said: "He was seen holding a mobile phone to his right ear and as he moved closer the officer saw he was holding another phone in his other hand as though he was texting."

5. British police evidently are very polite
Can't imagine a cop in the U.S. waiting for him to finish his conversation.

10. I imagine he'd have been tased and drug out of the car...
And though I certainly decry and would never condone police brutality, I think waiting for him to finish his conversation was just a wee bit too polite. ;)

Dude's a moron and everybody's better off with him off the road.

9. He should just move to Florida.
All he needs is a pulse and twenty six forms of ID, and he can talk, text and drive all he wants. I see it here every day. :eyes:

13. Two mobile phones, no brains.
Reminds me of a cartoon I saw recently, where a driver is shouting at the driver behind him: 'Stop honking! Can't you see I'm on the phone?'

Nasty little things. Should've charged him with being in possession of an offence weapon too.

15. The Tigra, a GM product NOT sold in the US or Canada

The big three US Auto makers and their European and Japanese competitors do NOT think the Superminis will sell in the US or Canada, so NONE of them sell one in the US. Ford barely bring in the Fiesta is is Smallest car in the US (And that only started in 2010, prior to that the last Fiesta sold in the US was in 1980, for 30 years even the Fiesta was to small for the US Market).
