I spent one of the most depressing mornings I've ever experienced last week, at County Hall listening to the repercussions for Northumberland of Gove's dog's breakfast of an education "policy". Even one of the Tory county councillors declared himself to be disgusted with it.

And now Twiggy's signed Labour up to it.

Indeed large sections of it have been adopted by the Tories and Lib Dems.

Still, I'm not holing out any hope for a decent alternative to the coalition from Twigg.
