My book of the year so far is David Craig's
'Rip-Off - The scandalous inside story of the management consulting machine'. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1872188060/qid=1118863245/sr=8-1/ref=pd_ka_1/202-2262768-5955027I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know how corporations and governments fritter away millions of pounds on pointless business process reorganisation and useless IT applications. Using some of the quotes in the book to search the web I think that I have a pretty good idea which company used to employ him. You will be delighted to know that the UK government, in their infinite wisdom, recently gave them a multi billion pound contract to run the computer systems of a major department of state. Read it and weep.
