We're desperately trying to get rid of the Head Chimp in the
Monkey Palace...

Finally some military families are joining the push for impeachment-it has taken forever!!
C-span had a surge of demand for a re-air of the Conyers Hearing-we KNOW the Chimp is drugged up most of the time (or they would have to muzzle him), but what is Blair smoking? God, bet he can't wait to retire on the sums the Bush family wired into his account for supporting their freak of nature!

1. Don't worry, everything's ready for him at Gleneagles Prison
Bush will be held in maximun security at the Gleneagles country club
(euphemism for one of the most heinous prisons in the western world).
Large numbers of rapists and torture staff are being brought in to
extract the secrets from the bastards... that is IF they survive the
biological attacks of the 2 legged variety.

Cheer up, the whole house of cards is coming down and blair is going
down with them.... and unfortunately, blair smokes neoliberal third
way warmongering, not cannabis. Had he smoked better weed we'd not
be in this tangle to start with. It seems psychosis and megalomania
are problems far beyond cannabis. ;-)

5. Indeed-this house of cards will fall-but i doubt the boypuppet
will ever face prison time. The power of his family far and wide-bush sr. (for his heinous track record-kept out of the papers for decades)should be in jail right now-he's out golfing.

2. Time for the UK and the US to part company...
by which I mean this "Special Relationship" we're supposed to have, which seems to only work to one side's advantage. No offence to anyone here at DU but I'm sick of my government adding the seal of approval to the US's bid to rule the world. Blair did not start out to be a bastard - his heart was in the right place; now his brain appears to be somewhere in Texas. The UK must forget about being close political friends with the US and concentrate on building a successful European coalition. The British like Americans - but not that much. If America is going to become Jesusland then we'd be better off observing the whole mad spectacle from a safe distance.
If Bush goes down Blair won't go down because of it - he's already on his way down.

3. Partially agree
This notion that by agreeing with America we gain 'influence' is as much horse manure as the equivalent notion that by swallowing anything and everything which comes from the E.U. we gain 'influence' there.

Blair really has been a complete poodle-boy, yet as soon as he makes the slightest request of Washington (such as climate-change or debt-relief) his position vanishes and he has as much 'influence' as the Ambassador of Micronesia.

America will always make her own decisions, whilst she is run by the neo-con clique these are going to include decisions which I want to avoid like the plague.

That said, the 'special relationship' was not a totally artificial construct. It arose because of shared aim and values arising from a good deal of shared history and culture.

If America continues on its present path (any American DUers, changing that's your job, and we wish you well), those many of those shared values will lessen - and with it the 'special relationship' should lessen.

4. Agree-if Blair started out OK, he must be getting paid off
the Bush family cartel/other related sources, otherwise, WHY would he give a shit about signing on with bush & co?
