legal rights and status are. If your mother did not naturalize and was a German citizen when she died, you might have a quasi-right of residency in Germany. Which may not be a bad move considering how things are going here with the exception of the 12% unemployment there.

Under what terms she , if she did it at all, gave up her German citizenship. Ask at the nearest consulate and/or the Germany Embassy. :hi:
