I don't like any sport much, but cricket is the worst of the lot due to the way it intrudes into my life when I try my hardest to keep it out. It's so damn boring and I hate the way grown adults regress into toddlers the minute you put a bunch of them in a room and give them some beer to fire their stupid national pride up. Cricket reminds me of summer and I hate summer so much. What I hate most though is that during the First Test people at work thought that all of us wanted the cricket inflicted on us all day and commandeered the big tvs on my floor that are there to watch the boring Parliamentary stuff on and turned on the cricket with the volume real loud and gathered round it giving their own commentaries. Then the guy over the partition from me decides seeing he can't see the tv without standing up at his desk he'll turn his radio on and listen to it on that. It was agony that even my ipod had trouble drowning out. And because I'd told him when he started talking cricket at me that if I had to pick a team to go for, I'd pick England because they don't have that wanker Shane Warne on their team, he's been attempting to rub my face in the result ever since and acting like I actually care...
I think I might take some flex days when the Second Test is on...
End of pointless vent...

I'm over in the UK forum to chat about cricket.
I promise I won't post a thing here.
