You would think that someone would raise an eyebrow when a guy dressed up as Osama can cruise through checkpoints in this 'unprecedented operation'. The better part is watching all the pollies and ministers try to spin that 'security wasn't breached' and that 'it shows security worked'.

Howard will hate the ABC more than ever now, but to his credit, Downer
thought it was funny.

Edit to add: A Herald poll asking readers whether or not it was funny,
had 86% saying "yes". Seems most of us still have a sense of humour
even after 11 years of Howard.
