It's just breaking, but it looks as if Costa is hinting that if he goes, he'll take Iemma down with
him. It will be interesting to watch the fur fly.
"New South Wales politics is awash with speculation that Premier Morris Iemma's position is under threat after his sacking of treasurer Michael Costa.
Mr Costa himself fuelled the speculation at a news conference this morning, where he confirmed that Mr Iemma had dumped him but suggested that he remained treasurer until the Caucus confirmed his sacking."
http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/09/05/2356267.htmCosta, Sartor, Tripoli - possibly the three most-hated men in NSW politics. But sacking all of them
still wouldn't save Iemma if the Libs could only field a halfway-decent leader.
This is going to be interesting for us in NSW.
