I think the fact that time appears to be running out has a bunch of folks on edge. Invite them to participate but warn them that folks get a little crazy some times. If they are sociologists or pyschologists, they may find the discourse fascinating (if not scary).

18. I agree and was writing this when I saw your post.

I was planning on starting my first thread here tonight, but it just didn't feel right. After several great weeks here mostly reading, and posting a little over the last few days, I found it pretty disheartening tonight with all of the infighting. Especially with momentum on our side. Yes today's news wasn't great, but we are in a lot better shape than we were in two weeks ago in terms of getting to the bottom of this Selection mess. I'm guessing that many of us are sleep deprived, stressed out by the goings on over the last MONTH, and from precious little news out of the Kerry camp.

So I'm going to postpone that first thread, and find as many positive threads as I can from the last several days and kick 'em to the top. Then off the bed.
