This thread is intended as a patently biased psychological booster.
Here's how it works. I'm pasting some relatively recent election results here in the main article. Now, as absentee and provisional ballots get added to state totals, those will probably be relatively fraud-free numbers. In addition, numerous machine errors (cooincidentally... feh... almost all of which favored Bush) are being discovered here and there and will be corrected by boards of elections. I can't guarantee that this will narrow the total popular vote margin, but it could.
What you should be rooting for is for the "counterfeit mandate" to drop below 3 million votes. We all like a horse race.
So here are the rules.
Find a credible newspaper article that shows that a state has or definitely will be changing its final totals.
Calculate how many votes Kerry gains or loses with the new numbers. Post the state, and county if any, and the adjusted total in the subject line, and post new numbers and the URL where you found the news article in the message body.
If you find results that make Bush's margin higher, then you should still post them, of course. But since this is a cheer-me-up thread, see if you can find some more results that bring the margin down, first. If you can't, don't sweat it.
