Unfiltered Radio (Air America Radio) has posted an update on their blog this morning on the Gregoire and Frye recount efforts:
http://www.unfilteredradio.com/"In Washington, Christine Gregoire, the democratic gubernatorial candidate, is trailing her republican competitor by just forty-two votes.
Gregoire is calling for a statewide, hand recount of all two-point-eight million votes.
The recount costs at least twenty-five cents a ballot and a full recount would exceed a million dollars after legal fees.
Democrats have already raised six-hundred and fifty-thousand dollars. They need just one-hundred thousand dollars more as a deposit to ensure the recount. Unfortunately, the deadline is five pm today.

A couple of weeks ago, Donna joined us as a guest on Unfiltered to speak about her candidacy.
Since then, three ongoing lawsuits have exploded. There are at least three legal fights are happening, and the fight is estimated to cost upward of one-hundred and twenty-thousand dollars.
Donna still has a shot at becoming the democratic governor of the nation’s 7th largest city, but she won’t get there if she can’t afford to defend herself in these lawsuits. Go here to offer Donna Frye your support:
