It was awful when it happened, and he was sore distraught. But they forced him out.

The CNN International folks I know want him back, I know that much. I think lots of reporters would like to see him back.

I have asked myself the same question over and over -- why doesn't he start another one?

The other thing is, he promised the UN a billion dollars, which was to be spread out over a number of years. Then the stock market tanked. So I think it has been harder for him to pay out 10 million dollars every year -- or whatever the agreement was -- than he had anticipated. And then he and Jane Fonda were divorced, after she was "born again". (!!!)

As said above, it was fairly straight reporting. No snickering, condescening tone, etc.

As I noted in the referenced thread above, they mentioned Kerry going to New Hampshire over the weekend to address supporters, then going to Iowa on Friday, they mentioned him forming a PAC committee to spend his money on his agenda - health care, etc. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the man is back on the campaign trail and once again reporting for duty.

that the vote totals went down for Bush after adding in the provisional and absentee ballots. And they talked about how the DNC and also, in a separate action, several Democratic congressmen were looking into vote fraud. All stuff we've known here on DU, but it will come as a big surprise to a lot of people that this is actually happening.

They end with Blackwell speaking in very smooth tones, whereas they had a sound bite from the rally that sounded impassioned--i.e., a verbal rendition of the Dean Scream.

Still, they didn't call people protesting conspiracy theorists or discredit their claims (except for Blackwell pouting his BS). It's not strong, but it's a start.
