I don't understand why some of us here (seemingly most of us) believe that in order to support the war in Iraq and the war on terrorism, that you must be willing to enlist in the military. Logically, this just doesn't make sense.

Apply this same logic to firefighting (another 100% volunteer force, same as our military) and it is equivalent to say you can't support firefighters unless you are willing to run into a burning building with a hose yourself.

Should the anti-war ranks have to be required to join the insurgents?
