3. I'm not sure I'm reading this correctly...

am I supposed to boycott all the organizations on this list? 30% to republicans from Disney (who I hate for other reasons) means I should boycott them? Did American Express donate under half of their campaign contributions to Republicans and therefore I should not use my AX card? Or is there some other more sinister meaning behind the % column?

You can look up their contributions on http://www.opensecrets.org/indivs/index.asp - just type in the employer in the appropriate box, check some years, and hit search.

I think of it more as changing my habits rather than boycotting. Maybe it's a fine distinction, but somehow I can remember I fill up at Shell now easier than I can carry a mental list around of all the gas stations I am boycotting.

7. That's the way to do it, keep every penny away from them that you can.

Give them as little as possible. Money is all they understand or care about, anyway.

Another suggestion: Find your nearest Christian bookstore and pick up the free Christian Yellow Pages offered in that store. That'll help yo identify local fundie businesses. Local franchisees of businesses you might usually patronize might be fundie-owned, too. Those yellow pages will help you figure out if they're wingnuts or not.
