I don't know what it is, and furthermore I was told it is "nothing earth shattering, just imminent next steps," but apparently there will be some news later today.

This isn't one of those OMG OMG OMG HUGE NEWS COMING things, so don't go waiting with baited breath, but it bears watching. When I find out, I'll post it.

This whole thing is so in the dark...that it's like there never WAS an election!

8. Amazing how much attention the military vote got in 2000...

and it seems to have been completely hidden in 2004. Could it be because it flipped completely from strong pro-Bushitler to strong anti-Bushitler? It's hard to imagine he could so egregiously abuse them for his whole term, and not make them extremely angry. Certainly Rummy's press conference seemed to show the actual mood of the troops, and Rummy appeared to be in danger. Gee, I thought they were all over there singing "On The Good Ship Lollipop" and having Bush rallies.
