We need a double prong attack.
While many sheeple do not consider that their country has been stolen from them, many do feel we are in this war unnecessarily.
I think we ought to start organizing war protests and protests to bring the troops home...so Bushco can deal with that--while we are preparing to throw his corrupt ass out of the house.
This election was stolen so that he could finish bombing the Iraqi's for their oil...I wouldn't be surprised if after inaugeration he would stage a nuclear attack.
He HAS to be stopped.

... before and during the invasion didn't help much.

Truth is, Bush doesn't want to see them, avoids them, doesn't think much about them. This administration hides the evidence of protest from themselves, and ignores it when they can't help but see it.

Now, if you could arrange for ten million people to bear down on the White House lawn with guillotines, that might get their attention. For a few seconds. :P

Protest isn't going to stop them. They're pretty much impervious to it, unlike previous administrations.

I'm not sure how it might work, but think in terms of political jiujitsu--using the opponent's political weight against them. These people are exceedingly self-important and arrogant and not nearly as bright as they make themselves out to be. They're bullies. That's their political weight. How do you handle such people in your daily life effectively? Make them small enough to deal with. Belittle them, ridicule them, call them out for what they actually are.
