He isn't leaving, if that's what you're waiting for. Not unless, like Will Pitt suggested, some god of justice swoops down and magically induces justice on earth.
But my other sense says, why would Kerry ever want to tackle the mess Bush has created. Obviously he would want to alleviate the horror, but otherwise why even go near it. Plus I think he knows or has even been threatened, to stay away.

I am as stubborn as they get, and I'm still waiting for something, in my heart of hearts. I'll be waiting even after he is sworn in. I'll be waiting for something that unseats him. Or worse.

But it's hard to at the same time. The truth about Gore came out (albeit after Bush was inaugurated and a day after 9/11). This time we expected dirty tricks and we're handier with the net, and a lot more are on it. Makes me think MAYBE this could come out BEFORE this inauguration.

Perhaps after the inauguration Cheney would like to blow the whistle so that he can play president.

Some might argue that Cheney already is the president, in a shadowy sort of way, but maybe he would like the title, too.
