Which Senator will join congress and sign a challenge to the election?

A plan of action is in order - a massive letter writing campaign to Senators likely to sign this. Lots of letters - they'll need to know they have the support of their constituents behind them.

Patty Murray come's to mind, she was one of the only Senators to vote against the Iraq invasion. Or Senator Byrd. Or John McCain }(

24. Don't count on it - I heard her on our local AAR station today

She said she is "monitoring the situation in Ohio" and would be "conferring with her colleagues in the Senate" about it.

No sign of commitment or conviction.

Not one would sign on four years ago. It's far less likely this time when bushco has a 3.6 million vote advantage. Fraud has not established as the proximate cause of his win.

BTW, Patty Murray was not "one of the only Senators to vote against the Iraq invasion." 23 Senators voted against it- including both of mine.

You need one Senator to join in to make it a challenge...

...but then you have to actually win the vote on the challenge itself. Which means you've got to get ALL of them on board and quite a few Republicans.

This is simply NOT going to happen without additional evidence (LOTS of it). Why would one Senator stick his neck out just to get it cut off???

And deligitimizes and humiliates Bush in the process. It is a very powerful protest. Methinks fraud would elicit a response this time. They won't get away with it this time if they shirk their responsibility....remember, we are all much more cognizant of the workings of our electoral process, we are exerting much more pressure than in 00 and they know we are watching.
