So here it is:
What is happening now with Kerry and his role in government?
31. Conjoining/Uniting in Spirit Excite, stimulate, influence; strong attraction; bring together what belongs together; site of creative transformation. There is Leader and Server, then there is Above and Below, then there is a place to perfect the rites. Uniting in Spirit. Accept this and use the energy of conjoining.
The implicit root of the word is heart, the heart moved and moving. The spirit influx fills, moves, and transforms the heart. This is the attraction and union of contraries, it is an influx, stirring sentiments, desires, ruling ideas and deep wellsprings of feeling. Also means "influence," to join with, to feel an influx, in the sense of "I have a feeling in my bones." It is a physical sense of spirit moving. The lines of the figure trace the path of the influence in the body, relating what happens when the spirit appears in different parts of the body and how to react.
Cojoining. Uniting in Spirit. Make an offering and it will succeed.
Excite, stimulate, influence, mobilize; strong attraction, connection; bring together what belongs together, touch; move, transform, trigger; all totally, universal, harmonize, unite; literally, a broken piece of pottery, the two halves of which are used to identify partners. Suggests Yu the Great who united the Nine Provinces and cast the Nine Vessels. Pervading influence of the sacrificial act and the spread of the spirit blessing.
Influence which excites, mobilizes, or triggers to action. Find the best way to bring things together. Working to unite the separated parts of something that belongs together. Reach out, join things, allow yourself to be moved. This is pleasing to the spirits. Through this, they will give you success, effective power, enjoyment, and the capacity to bring the situation to maturity. Put your ideas to the trial. The woman and the yin (the people) are the keys to the situation. Understanding, accepting and acting through the woman generates meaning and good fortune by releasing transformative energies.
Shows inner strength submitting to outer stimulation. Accept what is coming as the sign of something greater. Relations are clarified and individuals have a way to order their hearts. Bring things and people together through emptiness, the empty yet fertile space within you. Make peace, spread satisfaction and agreement. Something is indeed influencing and exciting you. Through it you can move the hearts of others. The flexible and adaptable is above, the firm and persistent is below. They excite and invoke each other, moving through mutual interaction. The man is below, the woman above. Accepting, submitting to the woman and the yin is pleasing to the spirits. Contemplate the place where things can be influenced and touched. Emptying his heart. By exhibiting comapssion for each person he encounters, he encourages them to draw near. Make the sacrifice. A cycle is ending.
The specific line, Nine at Fifth:
The sacred place, uniting in spirit. It conjoins the neck, moves along the spine. No cause for sorrow.
These are the tips of the purpose. This is a very deep connection that will endure over time. You are feeling the beginnings. This will wipe away past sorrows. Direction: A transition. Be very small. Don't be afraid to act alone. You are connected to a creative force.
Then the hexagram changes to 62. Small Traverses/ The Flying Bird
A transition; adapt to each thing; very careful, very Small; spread the word, stay in the process; major site of initiation and creative transformation.
Possessing it and traversing necessarily means you are making a crossing. Transition or passage to a new time, a passage that must be realized through the Small and the power of yin. It suggests enlisting the aid of the small people, nobles without patrimony who act as scribes, diviners, ministers, attendants, soldiers and cooks, dependent on the changing whims of a ruler who employed or dismissed them. It presents the idea of a bird in danger being caught by hunters, a bird who must fly low. It is concerned with making actions and the words of omen coincide through very scrupulous attention, a ritual in which every detail counts and every step is carefully measured. This time of transition is a journey through liminal space where rules dissolve and borders are crossed, imaged as the hunter and the prey, the bird taken or not taken in the net. It is the quality of the Way, the "littlest possible thing", something hardly visible that is the precise place where things turn and change. IT IS THE TIME FOR GREAT CARE WITH AN EXPECTATION OF GREAT RESULTS, the penultimate step. Remeber, in this time you are the bird, not the hunter. Motto: Keep a Small Heart. This allows small affairs, it does not allow great affairs. The flying bird brings the omen as it leaves. Spread the word. "Above is not the proper place, below is the proper place." The Great Way is Open.
Small traverse describes the situation in terms of seemingly overwhelming variety of details. The way to deal with it is to carefully adapt to each thing in turn. Be very careful and meticulous. Adapt conscientiously to whatever comes. This is pleasing to the spirits. Through it they will give success, effective power and the capacity to bring the situation to maturity. The time allows one to do small things. It does not allow great things. Don't go up, go down. This brings transformative energy.
What is solid and strong has lost its central position. Great matters are not allowed. Above you will be thwarted. Staying below yields results. Must have excessive concern with the small. The ideal realizing person reflects this transition through his concern with the fitting and the sincere. He is carried by the Bright Omens through the Tiger's Mouth.
