Rossi says 3,539 'extra' votes in King County! Email Rossi about Ohio!

The state Republican Party obtained a list of the people who voted in King County as part of a larger request for information designed to show systemic problems with the election.

The data showed that 895,660 people voted in the state's largest county. That's a problem, Republicans said, because King County tallied 899,199 votes -- 3,539 more votes than there were voters.

"We want the names of those people now," Rossi said. "You shouldn't be able to certify an election with 3,500 mystery voters."

Since Rossi wants every vote to be counted and all 'fraud' to be uncovered, let's take this opportunity to educate Republicans and the MSM to the issues in Ohio.

Fine, if they want to see why King County has an extra 3,500 votes, then let's get them to ask why some counties in Ohio had 1700% voter turnout!

Oh wait, for some reason they will probably say "that's different." I guess out and out fraud isn't really fraud if it's committed by Republicans, whereas administrative errors committed by dems is fraud? I get it now....

Mr. Vance,

I quote from today's Seattle PI:

State Republican Party Chairman Chris Vance said King County officials are "in defense mode" and dragging their feet.

"If King County can't explain it, this could be the bombshell that blows up the election," Vance said. "This is the most glaring thing that we've see so far, if it is not adequately explained. You got more votes than you've got people."

You might want to be very careful using words like "bombshell". In the state of Ohio there have been numerous counties and precincts that had a tremendous amout of over voting. In several precints there was 1700% voter turnout! In your zeal to find just a few more votes for Mr. Rossi, you might end up losing the election for Mr. Bush.

People, we need to get the MSM interested in those 'extra' votes in King County. They are making a huge stink of it (the rethugs) so we need to make sure that Ohio gets talked about too...

in WA the 3K votes irregularity, if true and corrected, would definitely tip the election. In OH, all the irregularities that were mentioned taken together would not have tipped the election.

As for getting MSM interested in those "extra" votes in King county - be careful what you wish for. You will install a Republican governor in WA and (see 1st paragraph) will not cause much difference in OH Bush margin.

If Mr. Rossi is so concerned about the possibility of extra votes, I would greatly appreciate it if he would contact the Republican members of the House and Senate and ask them to reject the Ohio electoral votes on January 6, 2005. At least the Washington recounts appear to have been done in an honest way, while Ohio's recount violated state law repeatedly and thus has no validity. Ohio, New Mexico, and Florida all had plenty of extra votes in the election: curiously enough most seem to favor Mr. Bush. In those states, there are also lots of uncounted votes: perhaps Mr. Rossi would like to urge that they be counted as well. Finally, there is solid evidence that at least 3.5 million extra votes across the country magically appeared for Mr. Bush.

I would happily trade another recount in Washington State - counting all the votes, including the ones he didn't want counted before he lost - for a thorough investigation and an honest recount across the United States. The 2004 Election was a mockery of democracy, and I hope all Republicans, Democrats, and Independents will join forces to contest it, and to prevent election fraud from ever happening again.

They'll never publish it, but what the hell, it was fun to write. :evilgrin:

This is important. Where do you get the information that the Ohio records are on lockdown until January 10th?

I remember reading the posts where the poll books were taken from folks in Greene county on Dec. 10th and they were told that Blackwell said the records were on "lockdown". However, I have not been able to find anything which speaks to how long that lockdown was to last.

If you can point me to any source that says how long the records are locked down it can help with something I'm working on.

and that Blackwell was not allowing anyone to look at any of the log books unitl January 10th. Maybe on the Green's web? I'll look around and see if I can find out where I read it and get back to you.

I Googles myself silly yesterday. LOL!

I know I read that in one county the observers were told they couldn't see the poll books until after January 10th, but in most other counties they were allowed to see them.

However, I'm not sure those stories relate to an official lockdown announcement since the original reported announcement seemed to be referring to the status of the poll books as public record. Letting witnesses to a recount see them has nothing to do with them being public record.

My question is if anyone has proof of how long the records were to be considered locked down from public record by Blackwell.
