Since word on Democratic Underground is that California Senator Barbara Boxer is seriously considering standing up and joining John Conyers to oppose the Ohio electors on Jan. 6th, we must give her every encouragement to do so.

A very pleasant woman in her LA office 213 894-5000 said she was keeping a list of calls on this and they'd received "quite a number." That's surprising for a completely grassroots issue that's been blacked out in the media.

I am joining environmental activist Julian Holmes and others in the effort to generate a million calls and faxes to Senators on this issue. I've also called Kerry and tried to reach Feinstein, and will also call Sen. Byrd and maybe others.

Hope you will do this too, and get others to jump in - it's a pleasant couple of moments, and nothing coule be more important.
