I know quite a few who consider themseleves Repugs but they do not realize that they receive no benefit for this stance. They truly have gained more fron previuos Democratic principals but do not understand this.

16. RINO, here. I wear the right-wing tag line proudly...

It separates me from the nutjobs that have taken over the Republican party. I actually saw some of these nuts on Scarborough last night saying the Tsunami tragedy is another sign of the soon-to-be Apocalypse/rapture.

I remember when we used to hospitalize these people on schizophrenic wards with religious delusions...sadly, they are actually given air time today. Loony tunes with power!

Thanks to the Dems/other DU members for making me feel welcome and providing some great discussions. I think we RINO types will continue to gravitate to places like DU and the Democratic party as HOPE for the future.
