I haven't been too enthusiastic about the challenge because it has seemed pointless, but there is a short term strategic interest in making the challenge go forward.

We are controlling the Agenda!

If the challenge does nothing more than change the subject from the Repub mandated agenda to OUR agenda, then it's totally worth it!

10. I had that impression, too.

Conyers: "The Senate is not going to embarrass themselves as they did" (in '00-ref to not one Senator supporting black House Dems challenging FLA vote in '00, immortalized in M. Moor film, "F 9/11).

He is amazed at the hundreds of thousands of people rallying to this cause--Congressional phones, emails jammed.

He said he wants 15 or so Senators to sign their petition on Ohio--and it sounded to me like he wouldn't say this unless it was possible.

Randi asked, at the end--you only need one Senator, do you have one?

Conyers: "Oh, yes." Then he said something about keeping hope alive, which just tinged it a bit.
