Maybe we'll hear also from Cantwell (WA), Feinstein (CA), Landrieu (LA), Lincoln (AR), Mikulski (MD), Murray (WA), and Stabenow (MI). Maybe also we'll pick up one or both of Maine's female Senators (Snowe and Collins).

I have less hope that other white male Senators will follow Chris Dodd's example. Dodd must be acting from shame. After all, this whole election fiasco is HIS FAULT, because Dodd agreed to and helped manage through passage a "Help America Vote Act" with NO MANDATORY NATIONAL STANDARDS, no outlawing of "felon disfranchisement", no audit trail requirements for voting devices, and no DC Senators. Democrats cut their own throats by agreeing to legislation that helped assure Republicans could shave the Democratic vote by various devious means, in perpetuity. Our best chance to really reform election administration was when the whole world was watching Bush like a hawk. Now we're reduced to crumbs of recognition of the problem like today's.
