I agree. Here's the wording of my e-mail to Barbara Boxer:

THANK YOU! No reply to this message is needed. Just want to express our personal appreciation to you for your COURAGE, HONOR and dedication to the principles on which this country were founded. I am saddened that others did not join you in the Senate. I live in Georgia where we now have two Republican Senators, neither one of them have our respect, but at least they are members of the Republican Party instead of the outgoing Zell Miller. By the way, Chambliss probably "stole" Georgia in 2002 against the honorable Max Cleland, with the original trial run of Diebold fraud, with the lack of appreciation for fraud potential by our Democratic Sec of State, Cathy Cox. Having no voice here, we are glad to "adopt" you, and you are now "our" Senator.

Thank you again. If you decide to run for national office (President maybe?), you are now GUARANTEED our two votes (if they get to count!). You are also guaranteed whatever financial contribution we can afford for your campaign fund for your next election, whether for CA Senator or anything else. This is our family's way of saying "thanks" with meaning!
